An exact-name search is a useful starting point, but it can miss relevant records. Zylmark also generates name variations intended to help surface potential phonetic and visual similarities that may deserve review.

The search checks supported sources, including USPTO, EUIPO, and WIPO records. Coverage and freshness can vary by source. Review the current database coverage for the latest details.

Results should be reviewed in context. Look at the mark, its status, owner, goods and services, jurisdiction, and other available record details. A similar name is not automatically a conflict, and the absence of an identical result does not automatically make a name available.
